During my recent gourmet getaway at Cascina, I found the combination of tranquil surroundings and culinary artistry to be amazing. The hosts greeted us warmly, instantly creating a homely atmosphere that contrasted pleasantly with the busier locales I often visit as a mountaineer. One evening, we dined in the good restaurant, where Piercarlo, the chef and owner, showcased impressive culinary innovation. Each dish reflected local flavors harmonized with contemporary techniques, making for a nice dining experience. I especially enjoyed the thoughtfully prepared breakfast, which provided a nourishing start to a day filled with exploration. The hotel’s ambiance is so inviting that we often gravitated to the library and bar, where we shared stories over drinks, enhancing our stay. A genuine retreat for food enthusiasts, I personally look forward to returning and savoring more of Piercarlo's creations.
